An Early Morning Bike Ride
I’m trying to keep my promise to be more active in updating the blog. This morning I got ambitious and went for a morning bike ride ( as in 7 AM, morning and 40 degrees), but I brought my camera and took 30 pictures of the sites I see on the part of the Mesabi Bike trail that I frequent. I won’t bore you with all 30 pictures…HEHEHE… but some are good and I think that most people don’t even know the trail exists, or like me our lack of ambition keeps us from enjoying what is all of ours to enjoy.
I can tell you that I do not get a lot of enjoyment from riding the bike, especially sitting on that thing they call a seat. I’d like to tell you exactly what I think it was designed for, but I like to think of my blog as a family cite. My reason for the punishment that I call a bike ride is that I have a foot problem that makes walking hurt more than riding a bike. Also my DOCTOR says that at my age I should have at least three 20 minute sessions of cardio workout a week. The bike riding seems to strengthen my foot so that I can play GOLF …..hehehehe….I finally get to the bottom line, I enjoy golfing and as much as I struggle with the game playing without pain is much more fun…..DUH!!
Today I have an afternoon golf event out at Eagle Ridge Golf course and I’ll try to take some pictures to show you a punishing, beautiful golf course. I hope you enjoy the pictures from this morning.
Now onto the honey do list before golfing,
