LOW trip to Morris Point

This was a weekend that you could order...PERFECT weather and the FISH cooperated, a good time was had by all. Zach brought his construction partner Roy for his first Ice fishing trip. He had never caught a walleye so he was excited when the fish almost jumped out of the holes Saturday morning. We caught a good mix of walleyes and saugers, its safe to say the three of us caught 40-50 fish in a 3 hour period. We didn't have a monster but we caught alot of 15-17 " fish, you can't ask for anything better than that.

It was also the first trip on the ice for the fishhouse..we got it out but we're looking for parts to repair the result of a mishap that could have been worse..needless to say the jack needed to be replaced because of rust. It will all work out and it will be ready for you Bruce when your ready to wet a line.

I hope all can get to LOW early...the fish are biting everywhere,
