Friday Night Fishing

Friday evening at Little Winnie was the best weather for fishing this year, a mix of light wind, sun and a few clouds. BUT the mosquitoes were out, not in numbers to ruin the evening but it gives you a preview of the future. There was a large crowd of fishermen but all were well behaved and a lot of razzing and joking went back and forth…..FUN FUN…

I brought a golfer from Eagle Ridge with me, Zak had a great time, he caught a few fish but struggled with the technique like most first time wader fishermen. He was a died in the wool boatman but I think he’ll be out wader fishing again and he’ll do better I’m sure.

The fish didn’t start biting until a little after 8PM and the catching was spotty, with maybe 20 fish for 11 fishermen. We were fortunate and caught 7 fish, another great evening. Sorry no pictures last night, just sitting here bored and thought I had time enough to BLOG…Who would have thought that this can be addicting.

Sorry for the rambling up above but not to organized this morning, too many days fishing this week and too little sleep.

Batter the fillets and eat well tonight,

Steelheader
