California trip 2007

I spent last week with D, Lyss and grandkids out in California. The weather was perfect and I got to golf everyday....DAMN I hate when that happens....HEHE!! I had a great time and I took and copied many pictures to take home. I hope you enjoy the family pics and the golf course views. Also caught some great wildlife on the golf course, they always make the day more enjoyable.

This hawk decided to fly just as I was about to take his picture.

The golf course is green the rest of the landscape is tinder dry. From this pic you can see why there is extreme fire danger in California.

Donovon hits next to this rock pile surrounding these giant oaks. Stallion springs has numerous oaks this size that make this a great golf tract.

Here's a water hole in drought conditions. SAD!!

D almost grove the creek on this hole. It left him about 75 yards to the pin.

One of my favorite houses on any golf course. The tree to the left of the peak has a roof hole around it. Its part of the massive deck that overlooks the golf course. COOL!!

The view from #12 tee box Stallion Springs.....by far one of my favorite holes of the course I've played. Those trees and rocks are about 200 yards out and the tee box is about 100+ feet above the fairway.
