When I arrived in Bemidji the only one at the cabin was Brian, Kay's son. Everyone else was shopping and gambling. Brian said he was the only smart one saving his money and soaking up some sun.

The point accross the river, always a great view.

The view up-river, it looks so much smaller than the vast river it used to be when we all 10 years old.

Jackie was the star as she caught the big fish of the night a very nice 26" walleye. Look at your mom Lyss...you'd of been proud. Zach was amazed that I talked her onto the boat to fish!!

Gina caught many fish but when we got onto the big part of the lake she caught a 20+" eye and Z made her hold it. It was very tramatic for her so the view of the fish was not the best. Wtg Gina!!

On Thursday Z dropped my off for golf and he went out onto Trout Lake and with the calm lake sight fished and dropped shoted eyes for about 3 hours. He caught 10-15 eyes until he ran out of bait. Yesterday I went with him and we drop shotted 13 walleyes and I caught a 29 1/2 " eye and he landed an 28 1/2 " beauty. Its amazing you can sight fish walleyes on a calm day and catch largr numbers of fish. Great method find Z....WTG!!
